Member Projects
As the product of our members’ time and effort over the past several years, we sincerely hope you’ll find these projects educational and engaging!

FORCE Magazine
This past Spring, our members chose topics across a number of disciplines — public health, risk factors, social disparities, recovery, and more. We compiled our work into one compact volume, which we proudly present as the second edition of our FORCE magazine.
Inequities in
Stroke Care
A deeper dive into some of the racial and ethnic disparities that alter stroke care for different populations across the US.
The Stroke Belt
Focusing on a series of states in the Southeast that are disproportionately affected by stroke mortality.
Community Stroke Education
In past years, SSF members united to conduct a literature review searching for university volunteer programs similar to our own. In this work, we list our outreach efforts with local communities, and review demographic data from our efforts over the past several years.
